Parfums de Marly Layton is the perfect balance of fruity smells melded with sweet, warm, vanilla essence. It combines a crisp summer fragrance with the warmth and earthiness of a winter fragrance. It somehow manages to straddle the point where these types of fragrances meet and executes it perfectly. It's an amazing scent that can work for an occasion and any season. A great daily wear or something to spray on only for special occasions. I feel the performance could be better as it becomes a skin scent after only a couple of hours.
This is a very popular fragrance and I can see why. Parfums de Marly managed to perfectly balance a sweet, rich scent with a fruity, fresh scent. It's amazing how well-blended and balanced this fragrance is. It can be a signature scent, formal or for warm or cold weather. An amazing fragrance, but with surprisingly limited sillage and lasting power. That's my one main complaint is the lasting power. Other than that an amazing fragrance.
